Are there quotas?
There are no selection quotas at 42 [Campus]. Some slots for the Introduction Meeting/Check-In and the Piscine are temporarily reserved to allow women to register over a longer period of time.
What are the selection criteria?
The selection criteria are not disclosed. There is only one rule: during the Piscine, give everything you’ve got. This is the only way you’ll know if 42’s method and pedagogy suit your expectations.
Can you pass the Piscine on one campus and then join another one?
All the application steps – from the online games to the Piscine – should be completed on the same campus.
How can I confirm my registration for the Piscine?
In order to confirm your registration to a Piscine, you need to complete two steps: attend an Introduction Meeting, either on campus or online (usually held a few weeks prior to the Piscine), and then the ID check, on campus, a few days before the Piscine.

Can you skip any step or “year” to join 42 [Campus]?
The training program at 42 is unique: there are no “years” and every step of the way is mandatory. Everyone starts at the beginning of the program but each student progresses at his or her own pace. It is not possible to join 42 in the middle of the program.
Why must you be an adult to apply to 42 [Campus]?
Even though 42’s pedagogy is open to all and supports atypical profiles, we do not encourage dropping out of high school, so we do not recommend the training to students before their coming of age.
Is there an age limit to join 42 [Campus]?
Any person 18 or above can apply to 42. There is no upper age limit. Adapt with your campus’ rules regarding age limits, if necessary.
Are there any required diplomas?
42 campuses around the world do not ask for any prior diploma or coding experience.
How much does studying at 42 [Campus] cost?
Training at 42 [Campus] is completely tuition-free. There are no hidden fees, now or after.
